Amy is a current School Board Trustee representing Kitchener-Wilmot with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board.  As Trustee, Amy quickly carried out her campaign promises to increase communication, be a strong advocate for students with special needs and increase the board’s inclusivity in the community.

In addition, Amy serves as the Board Chair for Bridges To Belonging Waterloo Region, an organization supporting people with disabilities by helping them to plan the life THEY want in our community.  Since Amy began working with Bridges To Belonging, the organization has more than tripled in size, allowing it to rebrand and incorporate as its own charity.

Prior to her current roles, Amy worked as a Broadcast News Anchor and Sports Reporter in various cities across Canada.  She and her husband Craig reside in Kitchener’s Doon neighbourhood with their four extremely loud children and a perpetually-starving Black Lab named Ivy.
